Rej joined Manila Water Company on October 2014 as a Training Manager under the Talent Management and Leadership Development Department of the Corporate Human Resources Group. He developed, implemented and managed the fully-integrated technical and leadership development framework for incumbent and pipeline talents under the Manila Water University.
After 6 months, he later held the position of HR Business Partner for Manila Water Philippine Ventures and Manila Water Asia Pacific. It is where he delivered customer-focused HR solutions to the subsidiaries from the business development until the transition into a full-blown operating entity, as aligned to the business unit requirements and overall corporate strategy.
He then moved to Manila Water Foundation as its Executive Director on May 2018. He leads the overall strategy to be the top-of-mind local WASH organization by creating and implementing participatory and responsive water access, sanitation and hygiene education programs contributing to the holistic community development. With firm belief on partnerships for social good, he is instrumental in the accreditation and affiliation of MWF in various social development networks of UN Global Handwashing Partnership, Association of Foundations, Philippine Council for Volunteerism and Zero Extreme Poverty 2030 Philippines.
Rej graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Management degree from De La Salle University - Lipa in 2006. He has been into various community leadership roles in Batangas City through the Sangguniang Kabataan City Federation, City Council for Youth and Sports Development and City Legislative Council.
He is the National Topnotch of the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy in 2003 and an alumnus of the Ayala Young Leaders Congress in 2005. Currently, he sits in the Executive Committee of the Ayala Community for Social Impact and in the Board of Trustees of the League of Corporate Foundations.
