Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI) was established on August 19, 1982 as the social arm of Shell companies in the Philippines. We aspire to be the pioneer in pursuing best practice projects that responds not only to the needs of Shells worksites and host communities, but to the rest of the country.
To help uplift the lives of the disadvantaged sector in the Philippines, PSFI has been managing sustainability programs of national and local scales dedicated to five (5) thematic areas. Each of our programs are categorized according to its primary objective, however the majority cuts across most of the themes as measure of PSFI’s direction to help address issues of different aspects and expertise within its partner communities.

PSFI attempts to address issues within its worksites and neighbors by working closely with the communities and helping them realize their goals and capacities. We work in specific areas to ensure focused development, and we provide economic opportunities and empowerment programs as part of our efforts to facilitate self-sufficiency within our stakeholders.

By creating opportunities for skills development and providing necessary resources for quality education, we hope to increase the capacities of the marginalized and help them attain a brighter future.

We protect communities from threatening illnesses and other adversities through health and safety education and proper health care programs.

Guided by our vision, PSFI provides support to rural communities by providing paramount training on sustainable farming solutions.

We make every effort to ensure that our programs continue to build a sustainable environment for future generations to come. PSFI aspires to achieve this through promoting and practicing best conservation methods in our worksites and neighboring communities.
