
MS. PACITA "Bing" FORTIN
Faculty, Department of Social Work, Miriam College
Bing is the Chair of the Department of Social Work and the Department of International Studies in Miriam College, Quezon City. She has been teaching gender, development, research methods, and social work courses for the past 10 years. She is the force behind developing the Master in Social Work in Miriam College. Currently, she serves as member of the National Board of the Philippine Social Workers Association, Inc. and the Editorial Board of the Philippine Social Work Journal. Bing holds a degree in BS Social Work from Bicol University (1999) and an MA in Development Studies with specialization in Women, Gender and Development from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University, Hague, Netherlands (2007). She is a registered social worker for 20 years, who ranked second in the 1999 Board for Social Workers.
