As it continued to provide aid to communities affected by Typhoon Ulysses, the corporate social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank supported provinces devastated by Typhoon Rolly. In line with its disaster response advocacy and in the spirit of bayanihan, BDO Foundation distributed relief packs containing food, rice and drinking water to more than 26,000 families in cities and municipalities stricken by the super typhoon.
The Aboitiz Group is continuously mobilizing relief operations in areas heavily hit by back-to-back typhoons Ulysses (Vamco) and Rolly (Goni) as both triggered massive flooding in several areas particularly in Metro Manila and the Cagayan Valley, and the Bicol region, respectively.
Following the impact of Typhoons Pepito, Quinta, Rolly and Ulysses, Manila Water Foundation continued to set out its disaster response initiatives, and deployed around 14,500 gallons of drinking water to severely affected communities in Metro Manila and other areas of Luzon.
As it continued to mount relief operations for victims of Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses, the corporate social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank also looked after the well-being of those affected by Typhoons Pepito and Quinta.
The Aboitiz Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Aboitiz Group, together with AboitizPower geothermal unit AP Renewables, Inc. (APRI), and Aboitiz food business unit Pilmico extended relief assistance to nearly 9,000 families in areas affected by Typhoon Rolly (Goni).
The corporate social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank wasted no time reaching out to Filipinos devastated by Typhoon Rolly, considered the strongest storm in 2020. BDO Foundation immediately distributed its first batch of relief packs to almost 11,000 affected families in Albay, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes—provinces hit hardest by the super typhoon.
