Ma. Socorro (Marissa) Camacho is an independent consultant on social development.
Until February 2018, Marissa was Vice-President for Partnerships Development of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF). The foundation manages the Ramon Magsaysay Award, Asia’s premier prize and highest honor given to celebrate greatness of spirit and transformative leadership in Asia.
Marissa serves on the boards of various non-profits such as the College of the Holy Spirit Alumni Foundation (Y2018 – present), Philippine Center for Population and Development (Y2016 to present), PinoyME Foundation (Y2013 to present), Jollibee Group Foundation (Y2007 to present), Alliance Publishing Trust, a UK charitable trust that publishes Alliance Magazine (Y2007 - Y2010), the Association of Foundations (Y2000 – Y2004), the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (Y2000 – Y2002), the Peace and Equity and Access for Community Empowerment Foundation (PEF) (Y2001 - Y2002), the Caucus of Development NGO Networks (CODE NGO) (Y1997 – Y2002), and Project Advisory Committee Member of the Philippine Australian Community Assistance Program of the Australian Embassy (Y1995 – Y1998). Marissa was also a senior fellow of the Synergos Institute (NY) from Y2002 – Y2004 and a member of the Senior Fellows Advisory Committee from Y2007 – Y2008.

Marissa received her Liberal Arts degree in Sociology from the University of the Philippines and her Masters in Business Administration degree from the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines).
