
MS. MARICHU TELLANO
Deputy Executive Director, National Commission on Culture & the Arts
Ms. Tellano is the Deputy Executive Director of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Prior to this, she was the Head of the Policy, Research, and Planning Office of NCCA. She has represented the country in international committees and councils related to the arts. She is also a trainor/ facilitator on Arts and Festival Management and Cultural Development Planning.
Ms. Tellano is a licensed Chemical Engineer with a Masters’ Degree in Educational Management from the University of the Philippines. She completed courses in culture and arts, including a Certificate Program on Cultural Management for Cultural Professionals in South Korea, Training on Cultural Heritage Conservation Management in Japan and in Vietnam, and Arts Management at the AIM.
