The 2019 LCF CSR Expo Program
The goal of the 2019 CSR Expo is to highlight collaboration among business, government, and civil society as a means to achieving collective impact. Its objectives are to:
SHARE. To share insights and best-fit practices; INSPIRE. To bring people together for a common purpose; and EMPOWER. To provide a platform for collaboration.
Thus, this year’s CSR celebration will highlight the theme “Toward Collective Impact: Collaborations that Work!”. It is about connecting people to more opportunities to work together and sustain efforts in light of calls for inclusive development and collective impact in addressing Philippines’ pressing socialissues, particularly poverty.
A two (2) day conference will be held at Jose Rizal Hall, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, Metro Manila. Sessions should be immediately after plenary and breakout.

Toward Government and Private Stakeholders' Collective Impact on Quality Education.
Despite many challenges, public-private partnerships have resulted in improved education outcomes. For years, CSR/foundations have continuously engaged with the Department of Education, DSWD, CHED, TESDA, CSR/foundations and individuals to help improve literacy and economic opportunities. As more collaborations happen and with more money invested in educational intervention programs, it is imperative to take a look at their collaborative impact and translate learnings to policies and actions.
Presentation of real-life models of collaboration by the private sector that work with government, school and communities that successfully implemented collaboration-building strategies will be shared. We will listen to their stories and learn what made their collaborations work.

The Logo

Idea
The rope is a piece of strong, thick string made of long twisted threads. It is usually used to tie things together.
Concept
The rope has the power of binding and loosening. There is strength when institutions work together. There is impact when people cooperate for a common purpose. Through collaboration, the communities we assist will experience the change towards holistic development and inclusive transformation.
Elements
The first five (5) threads with different color represent the five (5) sectors in our meaningful collaboration on societal development : government, business, academe, socio-civic and the LCF. The last two (2) threads with different color signify the participants in and recipients of our collective impact : the beneficiaries and the public. Everyone is involved. We implement a participatory and sustainable approach on our programs, projects and initiatives.

History of the LCF CSR Expo
Since 2001, the LCF has annually held the LCF CSR Expo, a multi-day event that showcases the best of LCF and CSR in the Philippines through a conference and an exhibition. The event is held every first week of July, following the former president Joseph Estrada's Presidential Proclamation that the first week of July shall be known as "CSR Week".
The LCF CSR Expo brings together the Philippine business community and other sectors to discuss the latest trends, models and practices in CSR, and promote a common framework for action in support of sustainable national development. Past themes and logos adopted by the annual LCF CSR Expos trace the development of CSR in the Philippines:
The Expo includes a conference and exhibition as its main attractions: the conference being a platform for CSR practitioners to discuss new ideas and trends, address issues and challenges, provide new knowledge and skills, and showcase CSR success stories. The conference is open to all companies and individuals interested in CSR, for a fee inclusive of all meals and conference materials.
The LCF CSR Expo presents an excellent opportunity to network with a highly targeted delegate base. In the previous years, about 500 delegates coming from diverse sectors attend the LCF CSR Expo, from the private sector, business community, civil society, the government and the academe.
Manifesto of Support
