Ms. Consolacion P. Crisostomo is currently the Chief of the Policy, Planning and Programs Development Division (PPPDD), the Division at the Environmental Management Bureau that leads in the development, integration and consolidation of
programs, plans and activities in order to accomplish the Bureau’s objectives and mandates.
Prior to her appointment as the Chief OF PPPDD, she was designated as the Head of the Philippine Environmental Partnership Program, a program which spearheads the recognition of industries with proven excellent environmental performance on one hand, and provides assistance to industries that are struggling but are willing to comply with environmental regulations, on the other hand. At the same time, she was also designated as the Project Manager, in concurrent capacity, of the Philippine Chiller Energy Efficiency Project which was executed by the DENR and funded by the Global Environment Facility through the World Bank (2012-2015). Other projects that she handled were the Local Environmental Planning and Management or Local EPM Project which was UNDP and UNHABITAT-assisted project (1997-1999), the JICA Capacity Development Project as one of the Focal Persons, (2007-2012), and others.
Having been in the government for more than two decades, she has gained substantial experience in environmental policy development and planning and project management.
She earned her Masterate Degree in Resource and Environmental Planning at the Massey University, Palmerston North in New Zealand. She also earned Ph.D. units at the University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP).
