Manila Water Foundation partnered with Odyssey Foundation, Inc. (OFI), the CSR arm of CDO Foodsphere Inc. for a WASH Pamayanan session in the Municipality of Cuenca, Batangas.
WASH Pamayanan encourages community members to be WASH advocates, enhancing knowledge, skills, and attitudes on hygiene and sanitation for healthier homes and communities. WASH Pamayanan was part of OFI’s Gabay Kalusugan Family Enrichment Seminar and concluded with the distribution of OFI’s VitaBun, a vitamin-fortified bread for undernourished children.
The parent-participants received gift bags from Manila Water Foundation’s partner, Philusa Corporation. Each gift bag contains bottles of Cleene Antibacterial Foaming Handsoap and other essential hygiene items. The mothers and fathers also received Ascorbic Acid Poten-Cee vitamin supplements from Pascual Laboratories. The WASH Pamayanan session is part of a series of WASH events in celebration of MWF’s 19th anniversary.
