The School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor, Leadership and Service (SKILLS) is sharing to all members of the League of Corporate Foundations the School at Home: A Homeschooling Playbook for Parents.

SKILLS is a technical vocational institute that operates a standalone senior high school accredited by DepEd and likewise offers employment-driven short term courses accredited by TESDA. Since face to face classes will not be handled during the 2020-2021 school year, SKILLS published the playbook to guide parents how to best manage the homeschooling of their children. SKILLS opened its school year last September 21.

Majority of the senior high students of SKILLS come from families with limited access to the internet and digital devices hence their schooling will be aided by self-learning modules. SKILLS recognizes that the involvement of the parents are crucial in the success of the children’s learning at home.

SKILLS is operated by the Primary Structures Educational Foundation Inc. (PSEFI). The first edition of the playbook is available in English and Bisayas versions. PSEFI encourages its fellow LCF members to share the playbook to their beneficiary schools, communities, and networks. For more information, please contact SKILLS at
