The LCF Family gathered once again for its General Assembly at the AIM Conference Center last 9 August 2010. First part of the Assembly was a forum on public-private partnerships featuring guest speakers DILG Assistant Secretary Rolando Acosta and EON Director for Legal and Public Affairs Jojo Lacanilao. Assistant Secretary Acosta presented a government agency’s perspective on sustainable development. Mr. Lacanilao talked about policies regarding public-private partnerships.

The open forum was followed by the General Assembly proper, consisting of updates for the year from LCF President Cecile Alcantara, a final report on the CSR Expo from TeamAsia President Monette Hamlin, and a financial update from LCF Treasurer Camille Buenaventura.

New member AMY Foundation was also inducted into the LCF Family. AMY Foundation Executive Director Alice Rodil gave a brief video presentation of their work.

New LCF Trustees were also declared at the assembly: Chairman Edgardo Amistad (UCPB-CIIF Foundation), President Cecile Alcantara (Coca-Cola Foundation), VP for Programs Gisela Tiongson (Jollibee Foundation), and VP for Resource Mobilization Sonny Carpio (Aboitiz Foundation). They will join remaining Board Members -- VP for Membership Linda Atayde (SM Foundation), Treasurer Camille Buenaventura (San Miguel Foundation), and Public Affairs Director Raffy Alunan III (Lopez Group Foundation). Atty. Marivic Sarmiento (Sarmiento Foundation) remains the Corporate Secretary and Legal Counsel.

The LCF thanked outgoing VP for Resource Mobilization Ms. Malu Erni for her many years of dedicated service to the LCF.

The general assembly ended with a fun, 4-round raffle, made possible by the following generous foundations: TeaM Energy, EDC, Lopez Group, San Miguel, Ang.Hortaleza, Toyota, BPI, SM, PASAR, Roxas, Metrobank, Petron, UCPB-CIIF, Coca-Cola and Sarmiento.
