Ms. Margarita P. Balderas-Torres is currently the Vice President for Marketing of Golden Arches Development Corporation. She is responsible for leading Golden Arches' marketing strategies and implementing system-wide marketing programs. As VP for Marketing she instituted a 360 degree marketing with Jasmine Trias sound signature campaign, Big Mac music campaign and Extra Challenge promotion for Golden Arches. Moreover, she also introduced innovations such as load and SIM Card selling in McDonald's stores. Ms. Balderas-Torres also worked as a Senior Marketing Manager for big corporations such as Smart Communications (2003), Wyeth Consumer Healthcare (2002), and Express Telecommunications (1999). Aside from her contributions in brand portfolio management, she became a part of new product development for companies such as Pocketbell, Unilever and Pepsi Cola Products Philippines. From 2004 to 2005 she was a member of the Southeast Asia Marketing Board and was the Vice President of Paging Entities in 1997. She won the Best Multi Media Campaign for Jasmine Trias sound signature campaign in 2005 and Best Overseas Marketing Campaign from the European Public Paging Association in Nice, France for McDonald's Global Marketing in 1997.

Ms. Margarita P. Balderas-Torres graduated with Honorable Mention from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in AB Psychology.
