Ms. Fatima Reyes is the Chair of the Sustainability Reporting and Assurance Committee of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a widely recognized expert in sustainability management and reporting, environmental accounting and management systems. Her strengths include management accounting, covering the strategic areas of energy, waste, water, and health and safety; CSR initiatives, preparation and assurance of sustainability reports; and climate change response, which cover the structuring of corporate policy and strategies, reporting and disclosures, and the formulation and implementation of corporate climate change-related initiatives such as CDM projects. She has a strong track record in advising several international and Asian region corporations and public organizations.  Ms. Reyes also served as a member of the GRI G3 Advisory Panel on Environmental Indicators, and she is noted for the disciplined and structured approach to managing sustainability impacts according to the language of corporate finance. Currently she is a member of the International Federation of Accountants’ Sustainability Experts Advisory Panel, where she is engaged in activities that promote the accounting community’s active role in the global sustainability agenda and member of the advisory panel of the International Assurance and Audit Standards Board’s Project on the International Standards on Assurance Engagements on Carbon Information.
