Ms. Charo Santos-Concio is the President of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation and Star Cinema. She is also an influential host, actress, and film producer. She is the fifth president of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation succeeding interim president Eugenio Lopez III. She established herself as an award-winning dramatic actress, starting with her haunting performance in the 1976 Asian Film Festival entry "Itim" where she won Best Actress. On her own, Ms. Santos-Concio has garnered four FAMAS Awards (Philippine equivalent of the Oscars) nominations. She has been credited in creating ABS CBN's top-rated programs and even Star Cinema’s box-office successes. On December 27, 2007, she won the Luna Award from the Film Academy of the Philippines. Today, Ms. Santos-Cancio is responsible for total channel programming, on-air operations, and the overall revenue and profit delivery of Channel 2, the flagship station of ABS-CBN.
