Mr. Gerry Plana is the Executive Director of the People Management Association of the Philippines. He began as a consultant for John Clements Consulting, then as a Senior Consultant for Guthrie-Jensen Consultants, then as Human Resource Director for Central Azucarera Don Pedro, and then Assistant Vice-President for Human Resource Management at United Laboratories. He then served as Vice-President for Human Resources for Eastern Telecoms and then moved to Core Consultants where he was the President. Concurrently, he is the Chief Executive of Investors in People.

He has been certified a professional in Human Resources by the International Public Management Association and awarded by the Society of Fellows of the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines as a Fellow in Personnel Management.

Mr. Gerry Plana graduated with a degree in Economics from the Ateneo de Davao University and received his M.B.A. from Ateneo de Davao University.
