Dr. Maria Lim-Ayuyao is currently the President of the Foundation for Worldwide People Power, a Board Member of COCOPEA and Miriam College, and a member of the 57-75 Leaders Council. Aside from her prominent roles in these organizations, she is a member of the Committee on Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning and the Committee on Administration of the Foundation of the Upgrading of the Standard Education. In the past, she has held positions in the Board of Directors and CBA Management Panel of the Centro Escolar University, among many others. Dr. Ayuyao was also was the President of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities and a member of the Philippine Business for Social Progress – Center for Corporate Citizenship, and Presidential Task Force on Housing for Minors Board. She has authored the book, "Rice, Beyond".
Dr. Ayuyao graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Philippine Women's University with a degree in BS Home Economics. She received her Master's Degree, Professional Diploma and Ed.D in Administration from the Centro Escolar University. Dr. Ayuyao is the daughter of Gen. Vicente Lim, a multi-decorated soldier and the first Filipino graduate of West Point, and educator Pilar Hidalgo-Lim, a co-founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.
